Your First Study

Create and launch a simple study in under 5 minutes — a quick start tutorial.

Get from zero to a live survey in about 5 minutes. This tutorial walks you through the essentials.

Create a new study

From the Studies list, click New Study. Give it a name (e.g., "Product Feedback Q1") and choose a study type. Click Create to open the study.

Add a few questions

In the survey editor, add 2–3 questions: a rating scale, a multiple choice, and maybe one open-ended. Use the Add Question button and drag to reorder. Preview on mobile to ensure it looks good.

Configure basic targeting

Go to the Targeting tab. Set simple filters (e.g., age 18–65, US residents) or leave defaults for a broad audience. Set your desired sample size.

Preview the survey

Click Preview to see the survey as respondents will see it. Test on your phone or desktop. Fix any wording or layout issues before launching.

Launch

Open the Distribution tab and click Launch. Choose how to send invitations (email, link, or panel). Your study is now live — responses will appear in Results as they come in.

Keep it simple for your first study. You can always add more questions, refine targeting, or run follow-up studies later.
